Stripe Connect has to be enabled on your Stripe account before Trellis can connect it, and only admins and managers can connect it.
Payments can be set per property. A property without a ready Stripe account asks the guest to contact the host rather than charging.

Does Trellis work with Stripe?
Yes. You connect an existing Stripe account or open a new one from Trellis. Upsells, damage waivers, tourist tax, and security deposits are then charged on your account and marked on the reservation.
Does Trellis process payments?
No. Stripe processes payments on your account. Trellis creates the checkout and records the result. It does not read your refunds, disputes, or payouts.
Do I need to replace Stripe?
No. Trellis works on top of Stripe, not in place of it.
