The agents answer guest messages across channels (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, WhatsApp, SMS, email, and more), coordinate cleaning and maintenance teams, schedule and track tasks, and run routine day-to-day operations. Trellis connects to the property management system and other tools an operator already uses, so it adds an automation layer rather than replacing existing software. Operators without a PMS connect booking channels (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, and Decolar) directly to Trellis: bookings, guest messages, and reviews flow in, and availability, nightly prices, and stay rules flow back out to every connected channel the moment a reservation changes, so Trellis can act as the system of record. Agents draft and escalate by default. A channel moves to autopilot once it earns it, and specific properties can stay on suggestions only.
